Thank you for visiting my website! I’m Courtney, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Contentment Psychiatry. I provide compassionate, personalized care for individuals struggling with their mental health. I believe that healing looks different for everyone, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
I treat a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, addiction, postpartum depression, and more. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are. My approach is collaborative and supportive—we’ll work together to better understand what you’re going through and create a plan that feels right for you. Medication can be a helpful tool when appropriate, but it’s never the only focus. I also value building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and helping you feel more in control of your mental health.
Above all, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. Reaching out for help can be difficult, and I don’t take your trust lightly. I’m here to support you as you move toward greater balance, contentment, and peace.

IN ARIZONA:
I am currently in network with the following insurance plans:
In COLORADO and WASHINGTON I accept cash pay only
$200 for initial visit, $100 for follow-up appointments
Cash pay and sliding scale are also available. Please email for more information.
Children ages 6 and up, adolescents and adults.
Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk through your history, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to improve. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, and together we’ll begin creating a plan that feels right for you. New patient appointments are about 50 minutes in length.
Scheduling is simple. You can book directly through the website or reach out via email or text, and I’ll guide you through the next steps. My goal is to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible.
All appointments are currently offered through telehealth for Arizona, Colorado and Washington residents. This allows you to receive care from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
All you need is a quiet, private space and a reliable internet connection. It can be helpful to think about your goals, symptoms, and any past treatments, but you don’t need to have everything figured out. We'll work through it together.
Telehealth appointments are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll receive a link before your session, and you can join from your phone, tablet, or computer.
I primarily provide psychiatric care and medication management, while also incorporating supportive, therapeutic conversations into our sessions. If you would benefit from additional therapy, I’m happy to help connect you with trusted therapists so your care feels well-rounded.
I treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, postpartum mood disorders, and more.
That’s absolutely okay. Medication is just one tool, not the only option. We’ll talk through your preferences and explore approaches that feel right for you.
When appropriate and clinically indicated, I may prescribe certain controlled medications. These decisions are made carefully, with a strong focus on safety and best practices.
The cost of services at Contentment Psychiatry varies depending on the type of service and insurance coverage. MOST major insurance plans are accepted (in AZ only). For self-pay patients, I like to be transparent about my rates. Initial consultations are $200 and follow up appointments are $100. Please email info@contentmentpsychiatry.com for additional information about rates and billing.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This helps ensure availability for other clients and keeps scheduling running smoothly. Cancellation fees are subject to occur.
